We are happy to report that the abandoned property next door to CUUF has been cleaned up by the city and boarded up. The debris in the yard has been removed and is looking much better overall.

Lifespan Faith Formation and Worship Team Update – November 2014

  1. Conducted services on November 1 (Dia de los Muertos service on special Saturday time), 9, and 16.
  2. All-ages service project on November 23 writing thank you notes to first responders in Indianapolis for Thanksgiving, followed by a pitch-in potluck lunch.
  3. Social all-ages Games Day in lieu of service on November 30 due to Thanksgiving weekend.
  4. Service day on December 7 at Teachers’ Treasures on E. 10th St. with approx. six Sacred Path participants.
  5. Services and worship leaders planned through January 2015.

We have completed entering all transactions that predate the opening of our bank account (from June 10, 2012 to October 6, 2014) into our bookkeeping software. We can now run meaningful financial reports to analyze our position.

Covenant team is in a holding pattern after the adoption of the Community Covenant in October. We are waiting for co-chair Michele Turner to recover from some health issues before scheduling our last meeting to celebrate and wrap up a few loose ends.
