Community Service Project Sunday
(3rd Sunday of the month)

Join us on Sunday May 21st at 11 am at the Fellowship House.

We will be doing an action support project at Sacred Path in March that involves dividing and packing supplies for our local community center; The Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center.

We will be bringing (if you can bring something from the list below) and dividing large packaged items into smaller packages to distribute to more families. Or simply supplying items to the Center.

An example is to pour a huge container of liquid laundry detergent into empty water bottles/soda bottles for a ‘portable’ sized container for singles or families who have to go to the laundromat. You can also bring partial bottles of shampoo and other type items which will be put into smaller containers for distribution or partial packages of things you no longer need.

Please bring something from the following list if you can:
Empty soda/water bottles; clean and with labeling removed (we will need a good deal of these)
Various sizes of baggies to repackage things into (gallon, quart, sandwich, etc.)
Sharpies for labeling repackaged items

Liquid laundry detergent
Powdered laundry detergent
Liquid fabric softener or dryer sheets

Personal Hygiene items such as:
– Bars of soap
– Liquid body soap
– Shampoo
– Creme Rinse
– Feminine hygiene supplies
First aid products
Kitchen supplies:
– Baggies
– Dish soap
– Dry goods
– Foods kids like such as canned spaghetti and those types of products
– Cereal (not oatmeal type)
– Canned goods
– Fresh fruits and vegetables
Adult diapers

Use your imagination … anything that a family with little available extra funding is probably usable.

Thanks in advance for helping out! Come and help even if you do not have items to share at this time.
